Kopsavilkums
Bachelor Thesis Title: "Developing of speed qualities for 10-11 year old football players." Aim of the Thesis: To develop the speed abilities of 10-11-year-old football players using a specially designed set of exercises for speed development without a ball, and to evaluate and analyze the impact of these exercises on speed improvement. To achieve the aim, the following tasks were set: • Explore and analyze literature on children’s and youth football and the development of physical abilities. • Assess speed development levels prior to the commencement of the study. • Design and validate a set of exercises for speed development without a ball. • Obtain results on speed performance changes after the experiment and analyze the effectiveness of speed development exercises for 10-11-year-old football players. Methods Applied in the Thesis: • Review of scientific literature. • Control exercise method. • Pedagogical experiment. • Mathematical and statistical analysis. Proposition for defense: A set of exercises for speed development designed for 10-11-year-old football players. The bachelor thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. Theoretical Part: The theoretical section examines scientific literature on speed development for 10-11-year-old football players. It investigates the psychological and physiological characteristics of this age group, the methods suitable for this developmental stage, and how these methods can be used to improve speed abilities. Practical Part: The practical section includes two control exercises conducted before and after the study. Over a 14-week period, 26 training plans for speed development were implemented in the training process. The results obtained were analyzed, and conclusions were drawn regarding the effectiveness of the applied set of exercises. The thesis comprises 78 pages, including appendices, and features tables and figures.
