Ievads: Ilgstoša dezinfekcijas līdzekļu iedarbība darbā palielina negatīvas ietekmes uz veselību risku darbinieku vidū, tostarp elpošanas problēmas, ādas kairinājumu un iespējamās ilgtermiņa veselības komplikācijas, salīdzinot ar tiem, kuriem iedarbība ir ierobežota vai nav vispār.
Mērķis. Analizēt literatūras datus par biežāk lietoto dezinfekcijas līdzekļu ietekmi uz nodarbināto veselību.
1. Uzdevumi. Analizēt esošos pētījumus. Metodiski apkopot pētījumus par dezinfekcijas līdzekļu negatīvo ietekmi uz ādu, elpceļiem, imūnsistēmu, hormonālo un acu veselību tipiskā darba vidē.
2. Novērtēt riska faktorus. Precīzi noteikt konkrētas dezinfekcijas līdzekļu sastāvdaļas, kas palielina negatīvas ietekmes uz veseliem orgāniem iespējamību.
3. Novērtēt profilaktiskās un veselības risku samazinošās metodes. Novērtējiet esošās preventīvās stratēģijas darbiniekiem, kuri ir pakļauti šo ķīmisko dezinfekcijas līdzekļu iedarbībai, novērtējot to efektivitāti un identificējot iespējamos uzlabojumus.
Metodes: šajā literatūras pārskatā tika izmantota sistemātiska metode, lai identificētu, atlasītu un analizētu esošos pētījumus par dezinfekcijas līdzekļu iedarbību darbā, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot kaitīgajai ietekmei uz ādu, elpošanas sistēmu, acīm, hormoniem un imūnsistēmu. PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar un PRIMO tika veikta meklēšana, lai aptvertu plašu akadēmiskās literatūras klāstu, tostarp žurnālu rakstus, garengriezuma un klīniskos pētījumus, izmantojot tādus atslēgvārdus kā: “dezinfekcijas līdzekļu iedarbība darba vietā”, “dermatīts”, "formaldehīds", "hlora iedarbība", "glutaraldehīda iedarbība", "ūdeņraža peroksīda iedarbība", "ceturtā amonija savienojumu iedarbība" un "alkohola iedarbība".
Secinājumi: Literatūras apskats norāda uz ievērojamu veselības apdraudējumu, kas saistīts ar dezinfekcijas līdzekļiem, piemēram, ūdeņraža peroksīdu, četrvērtīgā amonija savienojumiem, hloru un formaldehīdu. Ilgstoša iedarbība var izraisīt ādas bojājumus, elpošanas problēmas, acu kairinājumu un hormonālo nelīdzsvarotību, kas ietekmē auglību un aptaukošanos. Dezinfekcijas līdzekļu lietošanas pieaugums pēc pandēmijas saasina šīs problēmas. Lai gan tā ir efektīva baktēriju iznīcināšanā, pārmērīga lietošana var kaitēt veselībai. Ir svarīgi pieņemt drošākas alternatīvas un palielināt informētību, lai veicinātu labāku drošības praksi un nodrošinātu vispārējo labklājību
Background: Disinfectants comprise a variety of chemical agents designed to eradicate harmful microorganisms and are crucial for maintaining sanitary conditions in healthcare settings, laboratories, and industrial environments. While these agents are critical in preventing infections, there are rising concerns about the potential adverse health effects linked to prolonged exposure to these chemicals Aim: To compile an analytical overview of commonly used disinfectants effect on human health, with emphasis on the negative effects and exposure risk groups. Objectives: 1. Examine Existing Research: Methodically gather and analyse current studies about the negative impacts of disinfectants on skin, respiratory, immune, hormonal, and ocular health in typical occupational environments. 2. Assess Risk Factors: Pinpoint disinfectant ingredients that elevate the likelihood of adverse effects on healthy organs. 3. Identifying Preventive and Mitigative Methods: Assess existing preventive strategies for workers who are exposed to these chemical disinfectants, evaluating their efficiency and identifying potential enhancements. Methods: This review of literature followed a systematic method to identify, select, and analyse the existing research on occupational exposure to disinfectants, with a special emphasis on the adverse effects on skin, respiratory system, eyes, hormones, and immune system. A comprehensive search was carried out across PubMed, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and PRIMO to encompass a wide range of academic literature, including journal articles, longitudinal studies, and clinical trials, using keywords such as: 'occupational exposure to disinfectants,' 'dermatitis,' 'formaldehyde,' 'chlorine exposure,' 'glutaraldehyde exposure' 'hydrogen peroxide exposure,' 'quaternary ammonium compounds exposure,' and 'alcohol exposure.' Conclusions: My literature review reveals significant health hazards linked to disinfectants such as hydrogen peroxide, quaternary ammonium compounds, chlorine, and formaldehyde. Prolonged exposure can lead to skin conditions, respiratory issues, eye irritation, and hormonal disruptions affecting fertility and obesity. The surge in disinfectant use since the pandemic has intensified these problems. While these substances are effective in germ elimination, their overuse can be harmful to health. It is crucial to choose safer alternatives and raise awareness to encourage better safety practices and ensure general well-being.
