Abstract
Bakalaura darba “Osteoartrīta pacientu dzīves kvalitāte pirms un pēc PRP injekcijām” mērķis ir noskaidrot kā PRP injekcijas spēj uzlabot ceļa locītavas osteoartrīta pacientu dzīves kvalitāti. Darbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām:
1. nodaļā autore sniedz ieskatu, kas ir osteoartrīts, tā simptomātika, attīstības riska faktori un iespējamās ārstēšanas metodes.
2. nodaļā tiek skatīta PRP injekcija, un tās iespējamās ārstēšanas metode osteoartrīta gadījumā.
3. un 4. nodaļā tiek minēta pētījuma metodoloģija, tiek analizēti aptaujas rezultāti, kā arī tiek izdarīti secinājumi.
Autore darba sākumā izvirzīja hipotēzi : PRP injekcijas spēj uzlabot osteoartrīta pacientu dzīves kvalitāti, gan fizisko, gan emocionālo labklājību.
Analizējot pacientu aptaujas rezultātus, hipotēze apstiprinājās, jo, gan pacientu fiziskā, gan emocionālā labklājība uzlabojās.
The Bachelor’s ‘’Quality of patients life with osteoarthritis before and after PRP injections‘’ aims to figure out how PRP injections are capable of improving the quality of knee osteoarthritis patients. The work consists of four chapters. In the first one author gives an insight into what is osteoarthritis, its symptoms, developmental risk factors and possible treatment methods. The second chapter looks at the injections of the PRP and its possible treatment method for osteoarthritis. In the last two chapters, the study’s methodology is mentioned and the author analyses the result of the survey. At the beginning of the work, the author develops the hypothesis that PRP injections are capable of improving the quality of life of patients with osteoarthritis, both physical and emotional well-being. When analyzing the results of patient survey, the hypothesis confirmed because both –the physical and emotional wellbeing of patients improved.
