Baltā āmuļa izmantošanas iespējas uz pierādījumiem balstītā medicīnā

Abstract

Darba tēma: “Baltā āmuļa izmantošanas iespējas uz pierādījumiem balstītā medicīnā” Viens no galvenajiem nāves cēloņiem pasaulē ir onkoloģiskās saslimšanas. Arī Latvijā pieaug onkoloģisko slimnieku skaits. Šo pacientu ārstēšanas pamatā ir konvencionālās (klasiskās) medicīnas metodes. Lai uzlabotu veselības aprūpes pakalpojumus onkoloģijas jomā Latvijas Republikas Ministru kabinets ir uzdevis izvērtēt antropozofijas izmantošanas iespējas onkoloģiskajiem pacientiem. Baltais āmulis ir augs, kuru izmanto antropozofisko zāļu ražošanā. Tā preparātu izmantošana vēža slimniekiem ir plaši pētīta. Āmuli izmanto ne tikai maligno saslimšanu gadījumā, tā pielietojums ir daudz plašāks. Pētījumā apkopota informācija par reģistrētajām balto āmuli saturošajām zālēm, to lietošanas indikācijām un balto āmuli saturošo zāļu iespējamo pielietojumu nākotnē. Pētījuma veikšanai izmantotas kvalitatīvās pētniecības metodes. Apkopota informācija no institūciju un organizāciju mājaslapām, šo iestāžu un zinātniskajām datubāzēm. Lielais reģistrēto zāļu skaits un zinātnisko publikāciju daudzums norāda uz baltā āmuļa nozīmīgo vietu komplementārajā medicīnā.Annotation Key words: “Viscum album”, “white mistletoe”, “medicines”, “scientific medicine”. Theme of paper: “The possibilities of the use of white mistletoe in the evidence based medicine” Oncological diseases are known to be the most common cause for human deaths in the world.The number of oncological patients in Latvia is constantly increasing. The treatment of the patients is based on conventional (classical) medical methods. In order to improve health care services in the field of oncology, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia has commissioned to evaluate the possibilities of the use of anthroposophy for oncological patients. White mistletoe is a plant which is used in the production of anthroposophic medicines. The use of the white mistletoe preparations for treating cancer patients has been widely investigated. The white mistletoe is used not only to treat cases of malignant diseases, its application is much wider. The study has compiled information concerning registered medicines that contain white mistletoe, indications for their usage and possible future application of the medicines containing this plant. In order to carry out the research, the author has used qualitative research methods and has compiled information from the websites of organisations, authorities and scientific databases. The large number of registered medicines and scientific publications indicate that white mistletoe plays a very significant role in complementary medicine.
