Kopsavilkums
More than 2 million people are dying due to liver disease every year. The risk factors for liver disease are obesity, alcohol abuse, metabolic disorder, history of liver disease and exposure to toxins including drugs. Healthcare professionals and researchers had conducted extensive research on drug-induced hepatotoxicity. However, many chemicals, solvents, herbicides, pesticides, mushrooms, and other substances are encountered and exposed to people, either intentionally or unintentionally for suicidal or homicidal purposes. Several factors contribute to toxicity of the liver, as age, genetic factors, nutritional conditions, interactions with medicinal in use and alcohol abuse with interaction.
