This literature review have investigated the role of physiotherapy as part of managing occupational-overuse-related soft tissue diseases (OOSD). It has examined the impact that these conditions can have on worker’s health and well-being and through reviewing of existing studies, physiotherapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, educational and ergonomic strategies as well as return-to-work programs have shown to be effective therapy options. These interventions have shown to relieve pain, improve function and reduced the impact of OOSD. The study have concluded that a holistic and individualized physiotherapeutic approach can enhance outcomes and a collaborative tailored strategy between employers and health professional is recommended.
