Abstract

Radošais bakalaura darbs “Obligātā militārā dienesta ietekme uz jaunieša sociālo un akadēmisko dzīvi: Dokumentālā portretfilma “Iesaukts”” sastāv no radošās un teorētiskās daļas. Radošajā daļā veidotā dokumentālā portretfilma “Iesaukts” atspoguļo jaunieša personīgo pieredzi pēc iesaukšanas Valsts obligātajā militārajā dienestā Latvijā. Filma pēta, kā šis pienākums ir ietekmējis viņa ikdienas dzīvi un nākotnes plānus, tostarp piespiedu studiju pārtraukšanu un finansiālās situācijas izmaiņas. Tā kā militārā dienesta ikdienas filmēšana nav iespējama, dokumentālā filma koncentrējas uz jaunieša pārdomām un personīgo ceļu šajā pārejas posmā, kā arī ieskicē dzīves tālākos plānus un mērķus. Radošais darbs ir īpaši aktuāls šobrīd, kad kara draudi ir pavisam reāli un nopietni. Jebkurš jaunietis pēc vidusskolas absolvēšanas var tikt iesaukts obligātajā militārajā dienestā, padarot šo pieredzi par iespējamu realitāti, pārējos dzīves mērķus uz laiku iespaidojot un apturot. The documentary portrait “Drafted” created in the creative part reflects the young person's personal experience after being drafted it to the State mandatory Military Service in Latvia. The film explores how that duty has impacted his daily life and future plans, including forced school leave and changes in his financial situation. With the daily filming of military service impossible, the documentary focuses on the young man's reflection and personal path during this transition period, as well as outlining the future plans and goals in life. This creative work is particularly relevant now that the threat of war is real and serious. Any young man after graduating from high school can be drafted into the mandatory military service, making the experience a possible reality, with the rest of life's goals temporarily stopped and suspended. The “Drafted” portrait provides authentic insight into a particular young person's experience when the military becomes the new reality. While the film is primarily an individual portrait film, it simultaneously raises a broader discussion about the social and personal impact of mandatory military service on young people. The film aims to highlight the emotional and psychological aspects of sudden life changes, as well as the long-term consequences on education, career opportunities and financial stability. The film's main target audience is 18 - to 27-year-olds, yet this creative work and youth experience can also appeal to the section of society whose close friends and family are at the age of mandatory military service conscription, as well as other viewers interested in topical social issues and personal stories. The documentary “Drafted” combines elements of the observation documentary style, allowing the viewer to experience the main character's experience authentically and in close proximity. In addition, interviews are also used that offer in-depth insights into a young person's emotions and thoughts, while archival footage helps contextualize his past-present connection. The combination of these elements creates an effective and true representation of the young man's story in the context of mandatory military service.
