Mūsdienās trūkstošos zobus bieži aizvieto ar neizņemamām protēzēm, kas ir balstītas uz titāna implantiem. Pēdējos gados parādījās bezmetāla alternatīva – cirkonija dioksīda implanti, kurus aktīvi izmanto klīniskajos pētījumos, un tie uzrāda labas biomehāniskas un estētiskas īpašības.
Darba mērķis: izpētīt zinātnisko literatūru un apkopot informāciju par keramikas zobu implantu pielietošanu klīniskajā praksē.
Materiāli un metodes: literatūras apskatā un praktiskajā daļā tika izmantotas pilna teksta zinātniskas publikācijas angļu valodā, kas tika publicētas no 2014. līdz 2023. gadam, avoti tika meklēti brīvpieejas un Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes abonētajās datubāzēs – PubMed (PMC), EBSCO (MEDLINE Ultimate, MEDLINE Complete, Dentistry & Oral Sciences Source), meklēšanai tika izmantoti atslēgas vārdi - ceramic dental implants, zirconia dental implants. PubMed datubāzē: (("Ceramics"[MeSH Terms] OR "Zirconium"[MeSH Terms]) AND "Dental Implants"[MeSH Terms]) OR "ceramic dental implants" OR "zirconia dental implants".
Secinājumi: keramikas zobu implanti ir laba alternatīva titāna implantiem. Cirkonija dioksīda implanti ir biosaderīgi, lūzumizturīgi, cieti un estētiski. Tos var izmantot zobu aizvietošanai, un, plānojot ārstēšanu, jādod priekšroka viendaļīgiem implantiem ar monolītiska litija disilikāta vai monolītiska cirkonija neizņemamām restaurācijām. Tomēr, lai precīzāk novērtētu klīnisko efektivitāti, ir nepieciešami klīniskie pētījumi ar ilgstošu novērošanas periodu.
Nowadays a common way of replacing missing teeth are titanium implant supported fixed dental prostheses. Recently a new non-metal alternative has appeared. Zirconium dioxide implants are widely used in clinical trials and the results are promising in terms of biomechanical and esthetic properties. The aim of the study: to research literature and to summarize scientific evidence about ceramic dental implants and use in clinical setting. Materials and methods: scientific publications that were used in this study were full-text publications in English, that were published from 2014 to 2023. Scientific papers were selected from open access databases and Riga Stradins University subscription databases – PubMed (PMC), EBSCO (MEDLINE Ultimate, MEDLINE Complete, Dentistry & Oral Sciences Source). Keywords that were used in query are following - ceramic dental implants, zirconia dental implants. PubMed query: (("Ceramics"[MeSH Terms] OR "Zirconium"[MeSH Terms]) AND "Dental Implants"[MeSH Terms]) OR "ceramic dental implants" OR "zirconia dental implants". Conclusions: ceramic dental implants are a good alternative for titanium implants. Zirconium dioxide implants are biocompatible, fracture resistant, tough and esthetically pleasing. Ceramic implants can be used for missing teeth replacement. During treatment planning it is advisable to choose one-piece implants and monolithic lithium disilicate or monolithic zirconia restorations. Although, more long-term clinical trials are needed to evaluate clinical efficacy more precisely.
