Pētījuma mērķis ir iegūt visaptverošu izpratni par atšķirībām starp titāna un cirkonija implantiem, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot kaulu līmeņa izmaiņām. Mērķis ir prezentēt šos atklājumus pētnieciskā darba veidā.
Parasti bieži tiek izmantoti zobu implanti, kas kalpo kā pamats trūkstošo zobu atjaunošanai. Pēdējā laikā pieaug interese ne tikai par titāna, bet arī cirkonija implantiem, ko izraisa bažas par estētiku un iespējamām metālu alerģijām. Katram materiālam ir atšķirīgas indikācijas un kontrindikācijas, kā arī izšķiroši faktori lēmuma pieņemšanas procesā. Tāpēc ir svarīgi novērtēt un izprast materiāla ietekmi uz periimplanta kaulu līmeni un salīdzināt to veiktspēju, kas palīdz vispusīgi novērtēt to piemērotību klīniskajai praksei, optimizējot pacienta iznākumu. Neskatoties uz augsto panākumu līmeni, tiek veikta nepārtraukta optimizācija un uzlabojumi, lai sasniegtu pacientam vislabāko ārstēšanu. Tas ir īpaši svarīgi, jo tādas problēmas kā implantu neveiksme un periimplantu slimības joprojām rada nopietnas bažas un tādējādi apdraud ilgtermiņa efektivitāti. Kaulu līmeņa izmaiņu izsekošana ir ļoti svarīga, īpaši, lai novērtētu zobu implantu un to izgatavošanā izmantoto materiālu ilgtermiņa panākumus un stabilitāti. Līdz ar to pētījumi, kas vērsti uz titāna un cirkonija zobu implantu materiālu, ir neaizstājami zobārstniecības jomā, sniedzot vērtīgu ieskatu par to veiktspēju, bioloģisko saderību un iespējamām komplikācijām.
The research aim is to attain a comprehensive understanding of the distinctions between titanium and zirconia implants, with a specific focus on bone level changes. The objective is to present these findings in the form of a research paper. Generally, dental Implants are frequently used, serving as a foundational support for the restorations of missing teeth. Recently, there has been a growing interest in not only titanium implants but also zirconia implants, driven by concerns about aesthetics and potential metal allergies. Each material presents distinct indications and contraindications, and crucial factors in the decision-making process. Therefore, it is important to assess and understand the material’s impact on peri-implant bone levels and to compare their performance, which contributes to a comprehensive evaluation of their suitability in the clinical practice, optimizing the patient’s outcome. Despite a high success rate, continuous optimization and improvements are made, to reach the best treatment for the patient. This is especially important, as challenges such as implant failure and peri-implant diseases persist as a significant concern and therefore pose threats to the long-term efficacy. Tracking bone level changes are very important, especially for evaluating the long-term success and stability of dental implants and the materials employed in their fabrication. Consequently, research focused on titanium and zirconia dental implant material is indispensable in the field of dentistry, providing valuable insight into their performance, biocompatibility, and potential complications.
