Kopsavilkums
Sešos no divdesmit sešiem raidījumiem rāmējums netika identificēts.
The research bachelor thesis with title “Analysis of the language of the broadcasts of the “Brīvvalsts TV” portal in the perspective of the framing theory” includes fundamental sections: theoretical part with theoretical explanation of the communication theory, news journalism and use of language, methodological description and research part with the description of the portal and obtained results. After the part of the research, part of the discussion is described, comparing the results with theoretical material, and conclusions, proposals. At the end of the work there is also included the scientific article for the Riga Stradins University student media “Louder”, a list of the literature used and attachments. The objective of the study was achieved by concluding that the portal, mainly, uses three frames related to Covid-19 issues and uses two more frames, which are attributable to news media and homeopathy. Portal “Brīvvalsts TV” often uses the new words of Covid-19 time “plāndēmija” and “kovidafēra”, by expressing the view that the pandemic was planned. Framings mostly appears in broadcasts hosted by specific managers, which means that the conclusions cannot be extended to the entire portal. Broadcasts use words of negative semantics, associated with death, sickness and pain, to strengthen the emotional mood, framing. In six out of twenty-six broadcasts, frames were not identified. For more comprehensive and more accurate data, the study should be conducted over a wider period of time, in addition to conducting interviews with broadcasting executives and creators themselves.
