Farmaceitiskās kompānijas Hoffmann-La Roche vēsture Austrumeiropā. (XX.gs. pirmā puse)

Abstract

Šī pētījuma mērķis ir aprakstīt uzņēmuma “Rochepol” - slavenā farmācijas uzņēmuma “Hoffmann-La Roche” (Šveice) meitasuzņēmuma - attīstību Polijā 20. gadsimta pirmajā pusē, analizējot literatūru un vēsturiskos avotus. Šajā pētījumā tiks apskatīts Polijas farmācijas tirgus nozīmīgākie atskaites punkti - kā uzņēmumu kopīgi dibināja Šveices un Polijas uzņēmēji un “Rochepol” monopolistiskais stāvoklis Eiropas opiātu tirgū šajā laika periodā. Īpaši tiks uzsvērts augstais opiātu pieprasījumus Otrā pasaules kara laikā, Starptautiskās Opiātu konvencijas pastiprinātā tirgus uzraudzība un ciešā saikne starp galveno uzņēmumu Bāzelē (Šveice), kuru vadīja ģenerāldirektors Barels, un “Rochepol” uzņēmumu. Papildus tiks apskatīta uzņēmuma personālvadības politika, kā arī tās ietvaros veiktie civilās aizsardzības centieni Otrā pasaules kara laikā. Šo rakstu būs ieinteresēti lasīt medicīnas nozares darbinieki, uzņēmējdarbības vadības, vēstures un Austrumeiropas kultūras zinātņu studenti, kā arī personālu vadītāji.The aim of this research work was to describe the historical development of the Rochepol company in Poland – a subsidiary of the famous pharmaceutical company Hoffmann- La Roche (Suisse) - during the first half of the 20th century by analyzing historical literature and sources. This research reveals the important key points of the pharmaceutical market in Poland, how the company was established by Suisse and polish employees together, the Opiate market in Europe and the monopole position of Rochepol during that time, under the special circumstances of the high demand of Opiates during the second World War and the increasing surveillance by the International Opiate convention. Very important will also be the close connection to the main company in Basel (Suisse), which was managed by the general manager Barell, and the Rochepol company, especially during the 2nd World War. Also mentioned will be the staff politic of the company and its special efforts during the war. Especially medical-history interested Persons, students of history and management, staff managers and students of Eastern culture will be interested in reading this paper.
