Etnogrāfisko cimdu adīšana no antropoloģijas skatupunkta

Abstract

Anotācija Stājoties antropoloģijas studiju programmā man jau bija akadēmisks adīklītis. Tagad ir minietnogrāfija un maģistra darbs. Savā maģistra darbā vēlos noskaidrot, kas slēpjas starp cimda un adītāja gludo, glīto un sociāli akceptējamo āriņu un mudžeklīgo, iekšupvērsto un nelabprāt uz āru rādāmo iekšpusi. Lai to uzzinātu, es adīju, ārdīju, lasīju, domāju, rakstīju, fotografēju, veicu autoetnogrāfiska un klasiska tipa lauka darbu no 2o23.gada janvāra līdz 2o24. gada novembrim. Šajā laikā apmeklēju un vēroju ar cimdu adīšanu saistītus pasākumus, piedalījos izstādē, sarunājos ar dažāda veida cimdu lauka pārstāvjiem un interesentiem, studēju literatūru, nodarbojos ar zināšanu talāknodošanu un procesu analītisku vērojumu, fotografēju un rakstīju. Antropoloģijas stiprā puse ir redzēt acīmredzamo, formulēt pašsaprotamo un saprast vissaprotamāko dažādos brīnumainos veidos. Tieši to savā darbā esmu izdarījusi. Cimdu lauka īpatnība ir tēmu, cilvēku, notikumu un lokāciju daudzveidība. Lai to atrisinātu, par galveno lauku strukturējošo elementu esmu izvēlējusies dzīves plūdumu, atmetot mēģinājumus aktīvi ietekmēt notikumu plūsmu. Lai atklātu cimdu un lauka aizskatuves aspektus esmu pielietojusi adīšanu kā akadēmiska darba sastāvdaļu. Katra nodaļu veido ar analītisku nolūku adīts cimds, adīšanas procesa apraksts, lauka situācija un analīze no teorētiskā skatupunkta. Darba teorētiskais slānis nāk no Ē. Gofmana idejas par sociālām interakcijām kā sevis izrādīšanu ikdienas dzīvē, lietojot situāciju analīzē teātra, skatuves, aizskatuves konceptus. Svarīga arī A. Pandiana ideja par fragmentāciju un D. Grēbera idejas par iztēles darbu kā būtisku sociālo dzīvi ietekmējošu faktoru. Darba struktūra: anotācija, ievads, metožu nodaļa, Dziesmusvētku cimda nodaļa, Tirzas cimda nodaļa, Hanas nodaļa un nobeigums un pielikumi – terminu saraksts, minietnogrāfija. Darbā nonāku pie domas par adīšanu kā prāta dzīves sastāvdaļu un veidu kā formulēt epistemologiskus jautājumus, kas, fragmentēti un iztēles darba atbalstīti, skaidro attiecību dinamiku starp cimda redzamo ārpusi un noklusēto iekšpusi un ilgām pēc pamanāmības. Cimds ir tiklab privāts, kognitīvs, epistemoloģisks un preskriptīvs, kā redzams un publisks dažādu balsu, lomu un vēlmju artikulēts lauks, ko uztur saspēle starp rūpēm, zināšanām, ietekmi un ilgām pēc pamanāmības. Now there are a mini-ethnography and a master's thesis. In my master's thesis, I want to find out what is hidden between the smooth, neat and socially acceptable exterior of the mitten and the knitter and the messy, reluctantly shown inside part. To find out, I knitted, unraveled, read, thought, wrote, photographed, and conducted autoethnographic and classical fieldwork from January 2023 to November 2024. During this time, I visited and observed events related to mitten knitting, participated in an exhibition, talked with various representatives and interested parties in the glove field, studied literature, engaged in knowledge transfer and analytical observation of processes, photographed and wrote. The strength of anthropology is to see the obvious, formulate the self-evident and understand the most understandable in various miraculous ways. That is exactly what I have done in my work. The peculiarity of the mittens field is the diversity of topics, people, events and locations. To solve this, I have chosen the flow of life as the main structuring element of the field, abandoning attempts to actively influence the flow of events. To reveal the aspects of the mittens and the field of scenery, I have used knitting as a component of academic work. Each chapter consists of a mitten knitted with analytical purpose, a description of the knitting process, the field situation and analysis from a theoretical point of view. The theoretical layer of the work comes from E. Goffman's idea of social interactions as a manifestation of oneself in everyday life, using the concepts of theater, stage, and scenery in the analysis of the situation. Also important are A. Pandian's idea of fragmentation and D. Graeber's ideas about the labor of imagination as a significant factor influencing social life. Structure of the work: annotation, introduction, methods section, dziesmusvētku mittens section, Tirzas mittens section, Hana section, conclusion and appendices – list of terms and mini-ethnography. In the work, I come to the idea of knitting as a part of the life of the mind and a way to formulate epistemological questions that, fragmented and supported by the work of the imagination, explain the dynamics of the relationship between the visible exterior of the glove and the hidden interior and the desire for visibility. The mitten is both private, cognitive, epistemological and prescriptive, as well as visible and public, an articulated field of different voices, roles and desires, maintained by the interplay between care, knowledge, influence and the desire for visibility.
