Based on a study conducted in a hospital setting, which revealed a lack of personalized care and inadequate understanding among younger children, this article discusses the potential benefits of empowering young patients. The theoretical framework explores various dimensions, including child-centred care, communication strategies, child development, and the impact of involving children in decision-making processes.
