Izejas sastāvā ir bezstenta divlapu tievs cūkas perikardiālais vārstulis, kurš funkcionāli atbilst ektopiskās trikuspidālās vārstules aizstāšanai ar zema spiediena aizvēršanos. Pirmo implantāciju cilvēkam publicēja Stefans Togveilers (Stefan Toggweiler) ar saviem kolēģiem 2008. gadā. Kopumā šobrīd pasaulē ir salīdzinoši neliela pieredze, izmantojot šo jauno terapeitisko metodi.The Tricento transcatheter heart valve system (New Valve Technology, Muri, Switzerland) is a novel bicavally anchored heart valve that is deployed through femoral venous access using a 24-F delivery system. The design consists of a covered stent graft connecting the superior and inferior caval veins with a lateral outlet at the level of the right atrium. The outlet consists of a stentless bileaflet thin porcine pericardial valve. This corresponds functionally to an ectopic tricuspid valve replacement with a low pressure closing. First-in-man implantation was published by Stefan Toggweiler and colleagues in 2008.
