There is no much data on expression of cytokines and defensins into the bone tissue around the implants in literature. The aim of this work was to investigate the distribution and appearance of interleukin (IL)-1, IL-6, IL-8, IL10 and β – defensin (BD)-2, BD-3, BD-4 after the implantation of different biomaterials.
