Abstract: Kvalifikācijas darba tēma “Dažādu režīmu augstas intensitātes funkcionālo treniņu ietekme uz aerobajām darbspējām, muskuļu izturību un ķermeņa kompozīcijas rādītājiem”. Šis treniņu režīms uzrādīja augstākus rezultātus divos no trīs veiktajos muskuļu izturības testos. Ķermeņa kompozīcijas rādītājos augstākas izmaiņas veicināja intervāli ar 20 sekunžu darbu un 10 sekunžu garām atpūtas pauzēm, proti, vidējie procentuālie muskuļu masas rādītāji paaugstinājās un tauku masas vidējie procentuālie rādītāji samazinājās. Izvirzītā darba hipotēze tika apstiprināta daļēji.
The theme of qualification paper is “Influence of different modes of high-intensity functional training on aerobic performance, muscular endurance and body composition parameters”. High-intensity functional training (HIFT) is a method that emphasizes functional, multi-joint movements that can be adapted to any level of fitness and achieve greater muscle involvement than traditional training methods. Studies have shown that AIFTs are effective in increasing muscle strength and endurance, improving VO2max in a similar way to AIIT, and leading to higher levels of well-being in humans than traditional forms of training. The aim of the study- determine the effect of two different modes of high-intensity functional training on aerobic performance, muscle endurance and body composition parameters. Research hypothesis- HIFT with a work interval of 20 seconds and subsequent 10-second rest breaks increase aerobic capacity, muscle endurance and body composition more compared to HIFT with 10 seconds work intervals followed by 20-second rest. Research methodology- Within the framework of the study, the participants performed Harvard Step-test, to determine their aerobic capacity. Three functional endurance tests were performed to determine muscle strength. Bioelectrical impedance measurements with a TANITA body composition analyzer were used to determine body composition. Summarizing and analyzing the results of the participants, it was concluded that the training regimen with 10-second intervals and subsequent 20-second pauses showed better results in increasing aerobic performance. Summarizing and analyzing the results of the participants, it was concluded that the training regimen with 10-second intervals and subsequent 20-second pauses showed better results in increasing aerobic performance. This training regimen showed higher results in two of the three muscle endurance tests performed. Intervals with 20-second work and 10-second rest breaks contributed to higher changes in body composition. Mean muscle mass percentages increased and mean fat mass percentages decreased. The proposed hypothesis was partially confirmed.
