Šī pētījuma mērķis bija analizēt pašlaik pieejamos pētījumus, lai saprastu, kā NAM varētu būt ķīmijpreventīvs mehānisms pret NMSC un melanomu, kā arī tā potenciālu izmantošanai klīniskajā praksē The rate of non-melanoma skin cancer (NSMC) and melanoma has been increasing worldwide. Therefore, effective chemoprevention is needed. Currently, Nicotinamide (NAM), an amide form of vitamin B3, has come to attention in terms of cutaneous malignancies´ chemoprevention. It is hypothesized that it can restore ATP and might contribute to a more effective DNA repairThe rate of non-melanoma skin cancer (NSMC) and melanoma has been increasing worldwide.
