Vērtējums par alkohola lietošanas un cigarešu smēķēšanas radīto kaitējumu un šo vielu lietošanas paradumi 15 – 16 gadus vecu Latvijas skolēnu dzimuma grupās

Abstract

Alkohola lietošana un cigarešu smēķēšana ir plaši izplatīta problēma pusaudžu un jauniešu populācijā. Latvijā alkohola lietošanas un cigarešu smēķēšanas izplatība jauniešu populācijā pārsniedz vidējos rādītājus Eiropā. Šo vielu lietošana būtiski ietekmē jauniešu veselību un attīstību. Literatūras avoti liecina, ka cigarešu smēķēšanas un alkohola lietošanas paradumi tieši ietekmē riska vērtējumu par šo vielu lietošanas radīto kaitējumu. Tāpēc ir svarīgi noskaidrot 15 – 16 gadus vecu Latvijas skolēnu riska vērtējumu par kaitējumu atkarībā no cigarešu smēķēšanas un alkohola lietošanas paradumiem.

Alcohol use and cigarette smoking are a widespread problem in the adolescent and youth population. In Latvia, the prevalence of alcohol use and cigarette smoking in the youth population exceeds the European average. The use of these substances has a significant impact on the health and development of young people. Literature sources suggest that cigarette smoking and alcohol consumption patterns have a direct impact on the risk assessment of harm caused by the use of these substances. Therefore, it is important to find out the risk assessment of the harm depending on cigarette smoking and alcohol consumption habits among Latvian schoolchildren aged 15 - 16.
