Abstract: Sakarā ar to, ka 2020.gada 1.decembrī stājās spēkā Militārās disciplināratbildības likums, autore izvēlējās izpētīt disciplināratbildības jautājumu Nacionālajos bruņotajos spēkos. Darbā autore izpētīja disciplināratbildības nošķiršanu no administratīvās atbildības, karavīru un zemessargu disciplināratbildības pamatu, kārtību, kādā izskatāmi militārie disciplīnas pārkāpumi un personas saucamas pie disciplināratbildības, kā arī piemērojamos sodus. Tāpat autore analizēja disciplināratbildību Baltijas valstu bruņotajos spēkos kopsakarā ar disciplināratbildību Latvijas Nacionālajos bruņotajos spēkos. Darba izstrādes gaitā autore secināja, ka nav īsti noregulēta militārā disciplīnas pārkāpuma izskatīšanas rezultātu fiksēšanas veids, kā arī aizrādījuma esamības ietekme uz karavīra vai zemessarga dienesta gaitu. Darbs sastāv no ievada, trīs nodaļām un nobeiguma, kopā uz 90 lapām.
Author chose to research the issues of disciplinary liability in the Latvian National Armed Forces, due to the fact that on December 1st of 2020 came into action new regulation –Military Disciplinary Liability Law. During the development of master thesis, author analyses the separation of disciplinary liability from administrative liability, the basis of disciplinary liability of professional soldiers and national guards, investigation procedures of military disciplinary violations, as well as penalties applicable that doesn’t breach the code of military discipline. Author also analysed the disciplinary responsibility in the Armed Forces of the Baltic States in conjunction with the disciplinary responsibility in the Latvian Armed Forces. During the elaboration of the master thesis, author concluded that there is no reliable regulation in the way that the results of the instigation of investigation of military discipline violation are examined. Also, there is no regulation about the impact of the existence of a reprimand on the course of the soldier’s or national guard’s service. The thesis consists of introduction, three chapters and conclusion. The thesis consists of 90 pages.
