Cukura diabēta pacientu viedoklis par ārstnieciskās masāžas iekļaušanu terapijas procesā

Abstract

Kvalifikācijas darba tēma ”Cukura diabēta pacientu viedoklis par ārstnieciskās masāžas iekļaušanu terapijas procesā”. Pētījuma mērķis: Noskaidrot cukura diabēta pacientu viedokli par ārstnieciskās masāžas iekļaušanu terapijas procesā. Pēc Starptautiskās Diabēta federācijas datiem, ar diabētu pasaulē slimo 425 miljoni cilvēku (International Diabetes Federation, 2019). Cukura diabēta ārstēšanā nozīmīga ir pacienta izglītošana par sekundāriem profilakses pasākumi, kas vērsti uz agrīnu ar cukura diabēta komplikāciju diagnosticēšanu un novēršanu (Fokina, Kostjukeviča, 2018). Viens no sekundāriem profilakses pasākumiem ir ārstnieciskā masāža. Pētījuma ietvaros tika izvirzīts pētījuma jautājums: Kāds ir cukura diabēta pacientu viedoklis par ārstnieciskās masāžas iekļaušanu terapijas procesā? Lai sasniegtu pētījuma izvirzīto mērķi tika veikts kvantitatīvs neeksperimentāls pētījums. Kā pētījuma instruments tika izmantota autores veidota anketa. Anketu veido 18 jautājumi, kas sadalīti vairākos blokos : demogrāfiskie dati, respondentu pieredze ar ārstniecisko masāžu, diabēta pacientu viedoklis par ārstnieciskās masāžas iekļaušanu terapijas procesā un noslēguma jautājums, kurā tiek noskaidrots vai pacients ieteiktu masāžu arī citiem diabēta pacientiem. Pētījums notika X pilsētā. Par pētījuma vietu tika izvēlēta Y un X endokrinologu ārstu prakses vietas, kā arī X pilsētas Cukura diabēta biedrība. Pētījumā piedalījās 100 cukura diabēta pacienti, kuri ir sasnieguši vismaz 18 gadu vecumu. Pētījuma rezultāti norādīja, ka 46% respondentiem nav pārliecinošas līdzšinējās pieredzes par masāžas iekļaušanu cukura diabēta terapijā. Lielākā daļa respondentu piekrīt, ka ārstnieciskā masāža var tikt iekļauta cukura diabēta terapijas procesā. Lielai daļai pacientu nav izpratnes, kad masāžas terapiju ir jānozīmē, jo akūtā stadijā masāža nav pieļaujams veikt. Lielākā daļa pacientu vēlas ieteikt citiem ārstniecisko masāžu, bet pietiekami lielai daļai pacientu nav izpratnes par ārstnieciskās masāžas pozitīvo iedarbību uz veselību, kas parāda pacientu izglītošanas nepieciešamību. Pētījuma metode un rezultāti atspoguļoti 20 attēlos. Informatīvo avotu sarakstā iekļautas 20 vienības, no kurām 8 latviešu valodā, 9 angļu valodā, 1 krievu valodā, 2 spāņu valodā. The topic of the qualification work is "The opinion of a diabetic patient about the inclusion of therapeutic massage in the treatment process". Aim of the research: To find out the opinion of diabetic patients about the inclusion of therapeutic massage in the treatment process. According to the International Diabetes Federation, 425 million people worldwide have diabetes (International Diabetes Federation, 2019). In the treatment of diabetes, it is important to educate the patient about secondary prevention measures aimed at early diagnosis and prevention of complications of diabetes (Fokina, Kostjukeviča, 2018). One of the secondary preventive measures is therapeutic massage. The research question was asked: What is the opinion of diabetic patients about the inclusion of therapeutic massage in the treatment process? In order to achieve the goal of the study, a quantitative non-experimental study was performed. The author's questionnaire was used as a research tool. The questionnaire consists of 18 questions divided into several blocks: demographic data, respondents' experience with therapeutic massage, the opinion of diabetic patients about the inclusion of therapeutic massage in the treatment process and a final question on whether the patient would recommend massage to other diabetic patients. The study took place in city X. The study sites of Y and X endocrinologists, as well as the Diabetes Society of City X were chosen as the study site. The study involved 100 diabetic patients who were at least 18 years old. The results of the study indicated that 46% of the respondents do not have a convincing previous experience of including massage in diabetes therapy. Most respondents agree that therapeutic massage can be included in the treatment of diabetes. Many patients do not understand when massage therapy should be prescribed, because in the acute stage, massage is not allowed. Most patients want to recommend therapeutic massage to others, but a sufficient number of patients do not have an understanding of the positive health effects of therapeutic massage, which shows the need to educate patients.
