Bisphodphonate Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw

Abstract

Pētījuma galvenais mērķis ir analizēt literatūru par žokļa bifosfonātiem saistīto osteonekrozi (BRONJ). Darba pamatā ir 157 angļu valodā rakstītu rakstu vai datu bāzu grāmatu pārskatīšana no 1990. gada līdz 2020. gada martam. Saturs satur fona bisfosfonātus, piemēram, definīciju, epidemioloģiju, sastopamību, BRONJ riska faktorus, patofizioloģijas mehānismus, profilakses metodes un ārstēšanas stratēģijas, lai izveidotu BRONJ vadības vadlīnijas. Pirms zobārsta izmeklēšanas un visu zobu slimību ārstēšanas zobārstam vienmēr jāizveido ārstēšanas plāns pirms bifosfonātu ievadīšanas, un viņiem jābūt labi komunicētiem un jāsniedz pacientiem ar BP saistītās zināšanas.

The main goal of the thesis is to analyze literature about Bisphosphonate related osteonecrosis of the jaw(BRONJ). The thesis is based on reviewing 157 English-language articles or books of the databases from 1990 to March of 2020. The contents include the background of Bisphosphonate such as the definition, epidemiology, incidence, BRONJ risk factors, pathophysiology mechanisms, prevention methods, and treatment strategies in order to establish management guidelines of BRONJ. Dentists should always make treatment plans prior to bisphosphonate administration and have a well-communication and give the necessary BPs related knowledge to the patients before performing dental examination and treatment of all dental diseases.
