Māsu pieredze aprūpējot pacientus ar delīriju intensīvās terapijas nodaļā

Abstract

Darba autore ir izstrādājusi bakalaura darbu par tēmu ”Māsu pieredze aprūpējot pacientus ar delīriju intensīvās terapijas nodaļā”. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot kāda ir māsu pieredze aprūpējot pacientus ar delīriju intensīvās terapijas nodaļā. Intensīvās terapijas māsu aprūpē bieži nonāk pacienti ar delīriju, kuru aprūpe ir darbietilpīga un ilgstoša. Māsu pieredze ir svarīga, lai savlaicīgi konstatētu delīrija simptomus, kā arī delīrija pacienta ārstēšanā un rehabilitācijā. Bakalaura darba uzdevumi ir analizēt un apkopot zinātnisko literatūru, izstrādāt aptaujas anketu un aptaujāt māsas. No iegūtajām atbildēm izstrādāti secinājumi un rekomendācijas. Darbs sastāv no teorētiskās un pētnieciskās daļas. Teorētiskajā daļā iekļauta informācija par delīriju, tā apraksts, simptomi, ārstēšana, riska faktori, māsu pieredze. Pētniecības daļā apkopoti pētījuma rezultāti, metodoloģija, secinājumi un rekomendācijas. Pētījumā izmantota kvantitatīvā metode, pētījuma instruments-anketa. Pētījums veikts vienā no Rīgas lielākajām slimnīcām intensīvās terapijas nodaļā. Tika aptaujātas 46 intensīvās terapijas nodaļā strādājošas māsas. Darbā izmantoti 20 literatūras avoti angļu valodā.

The author has prepared a bachelor's paper on the topic "Nurses' experience in caring for patients with delirium in the intensive care unit". The aim of this study is to research the experience of nurses in caring for patients with delirium in the intensive care unit. Intensive care nurses often treat patients with delirium, whose care is labour-intensive and long-term. The experience of nurses is crucial in early detection of delirium symptoms, as well as regarding treatment and rehabilitation of the delirium patient. The tasks of the bachelor's paper are to analyse and gather scientific literature, to prepare a questionnaire and to survey nurses. Conclusions and recommendations have been made from the obtained answers. The paper consists of a theoretical and research part. The theoretical part includes information about delirium, its description, symptoms, treatment, risk factors, nurse experience. The research part summarizes the research results, methodology conclusions and recommendations. A quantitative method has been used in the research; the research tool is a questionnaire. The study was performed in the intensive care unit of one of the largest hospitals in Riga. Forty-six nurses working in intensive care were surveyed. 20 literature sources in English have been used in the research.
