The study “Parents' Perceptions of the Need for Vaccination Against Human papillomavirus” was conducted with the aim of examining parents' perceptions of the need for vaccination against human papillomavirus. Research purpose - The purpose of the study is to study the perceptions of parents about the need for vaccination against the Human papillomavirus. As part of the work, a collection of theoretical materials was carried out. The theoretical description of the human papillomavirus, the associated risk factors, as well as preventive measures to limit the spread of the virus were examined. Special attention was paid to studies conducted by other authors on the parents perceptions with regard to the vaccination of children against the Human papillomavirus. Research method - The work used a non-experimental cross-section quantitative descriptive design, a study tool designed by the author. The study involved 105 respondents. The criteria for inclusion were: parents of children, and at least one 11-12 year old daughter in the family, regardless of gender, social status, nationality and number of children in the family. The study was conducted in one of X City's schools, as well as on Internet social networking sites. A questionnaire developed by the author was created electronically and sent to parents of students of classes 5-6 in X City Y School. The questionnaire was also placed on 8 social network sites. The results of the study were collected and described by a Microsoft Exel computer program. The work consists of 47 pages and attachments, 35 diagrams are included in the work. The question raised by the work has received an answer as a result of the study: the views of parents have not been unequivocal and they are not the same in all matters, but it is concluded that, in most cases, the perception of the need for vaccination against the Human papillomavirus is similar: vaccination is needed.
