Autorkino iezīmes un rokraksts režisora Stenlija Kubrika audiovizuālajos darbos

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā “Autorkino iezīmes un rokraksts režisora Stenlija Kubrika audiovizuālajos darbos” tiek pētītas režisora Stenlija Kubrika filmas, kas veidotas atšķirīgās dekādēs, sākot no 1957. gada un beidzot ar 1999. gadu. Visas analizētās filmas tiek atlasītas noteiktā secībā, lai visprecīzāk atspoguļot režisora autorstila elementus. Darba teorētiskajā tiek apskatīta autorkino teorija, uz kuru balstoties, ir iespējams noskaidrot, vai Stenlijju Kubriku var uzkatīt par autorkino režisoru. Bakalaura darbs satur plašu tēmas izklāstu kopumu par autorkino elementiem, kas tieši saistītas ar pētāmam teorijām, darbā tiek analizēta arī klasiskā Holivudas stila teorija. Abu teoriju salīdzinājums parādīs atšķirību starp teorijas principiem, kas turpmākajā pētījumā palīdzēs noteikt režisora stilu, kā arī identificēs Stenlija Kubrika filmu galvenos elementus. Darbā tiek apskatīta arī režisora Stenlija Kubrika biogrāfija. Bakalaura darbā mērķa sasniegšanai tiek analizēti sekojošie jēdzieni un termini: kino valoda, metodoloģiskā pieeja – kontentanalīze, ar kuras palīdzību tiek pētītas filmas kategorijas vienības, naratīva struktūra, žanrs un citas režisora plaši izmantotie kinovalodas elementi. Pētnieciskajā daļā ar minēto metodes pieeju – kontentanalīzi, tiek veikta režisora Stenlija Kubrika filmu analīze. Darbā veikta septiņu Stenlija Kubrika filmu analīze, lai pēc iespējas detalizētāk atspoguļotu režisora autorstilu un uzsvērtu viņa īpašo pieeju filmas veidošanā. Pētnieciskā darba, noslēgumā daļā, tiek apkopoti un salīdzināti dati un iegūtie rezultāti, kas ļauj sasniegt izvirzīto bakalaura darba mērķi un secināt par režisora darbu atbilstību autorkino teorijās butībai, kā arī atbildēt uz pētniecisko jautājumu. Papildinājumā, bakalaura darbā tiek veikta diskusija par teorētisku litaratūru un analizētas filmas. Bakalaura darba noslēguma daļā, tiek atbildēts uz pētniecisko jautājumu un tiek pierādīts darba izvirzītais mērķis. The bachelor thesis “Features of the author's style and handwriting in the audiovisual works of Stanley Kubrick” explores director films from different decades, from 1957 to 1999. The films are chosen in the following order, with purposeful selection as they most closely reflect the elements of author style and the creative handwriting of the director. The theoretical part of the thesis examines the author's theory of cinema, on the basis of which it is possible to determine whether Stanley Kubrick can be considered as an author of cinema. The Bachelor's thesis contains a comprehensive set of topics on the elements of the author's film style, and also analyzes another theory, which is Hollywood's classical style. In this bachelor thesis the following concepts and terms are analyzed: film language and style, methodological approach - content analysis. In the research part of this method approach - content analysis and unit structure - deep analysis of film by Stanley Kubrick is done. The analysis of the eight films will be conducted in such a way as to reflect as closely as possible the director's style and emphasize the particular approach of filmmaking. In the final part of the research work, the data and results obtained are summarized and compared, which prove the hypothesis of the bachelor thesis and allow to conclude that the director belongs to the theories of author's cinema. In addition, the bachelor thesis have a discussion part in the relevant section, which provides a critical evaluation approach to theoretical lyrics and film analysis. In the bachelor thesis, the final phase, the research question is answered and the thesis hypothesis is reproduced. The study reveals that director Stanley Kubrick deals with elements of authorship in the style of filmmaking and builds his film within theory, though he is partly influenced by Hollywood style. Well-done conclusions are presented and a set of films analyzed testify to a successful study of the Bachelor's thesis.
