Netertona sindroms

Abstract

Netertona sindroms ir reta ģenētiska slimība, kas pastāv no dzimšanas brīža. Slimība ietekmē ādu, matus un cilvēka imūno funkciju. Tā var radīt daudz sarežģītu izaicinājumu to pacientu ārstēšanā, kuri cieš no šī sindroma. Slimības retuma dēļ pētījumi un vadlīnijas par šo slimību ir ierobežoti, salīdzinot ar biežākām kaitēm. Šī literatūras pārskata mērķis bija apkopot informāciju, kas datēta no pirmā pieejamā ziņojuma par Netertona sindroma gadījumu līdz pašreizējai dienai un vecumam, mēģinot iegūt resursu vispusīgai slimības izpratnei. Šajā literatūras apskatā tiks sniegta informācija par Netertona sindroma svarīgām pazīmēm un simptomiem, diagnostikas un ārstēšanas iespējām, kā arī tā vēsturi, lai piedāvātu plašu pārskatu par slimību un cerams, ka palīdzēs turpmākos šī sindroma gadījumos klīniskajā praksē.

Netherton syndrome is a rare genetic disorder present from birth. The disease affects the skin, the hair and the immune function of the affected and can lead to many demanding challenges in the treatment of patients suffering from this syndrome. Due to the rarity of the disease, the research and guidelines surrounding the disease is limited compared to more common ailments. In this literature review, the goal has been to try and collect information dating back to the first reported case of Netherton syndrome up to current day and age in an attempt to achieve a resource for a well-rounded understanding of the disease. In this literature review important signs and symptoms, diagnostic and treatment possibilities as well as historical information about Netherton syndrome will be provided to offer an extensive overview and hopefully assist in further encounters with this disease in a clinical setting.
