Abstract

Labor induction is very common obstetric procedure, and there has been a lot of different studies around this topic. Labor process itself is not completely understood and that makes it hard to investigate and compare different induction methods. Despite the prevalence labor induction has many possible complications, cesarean delivery being the most common one. The search for an ideal induction method with good safety profile and easy clinical use and also cost efficiency is still going on. In this literature review we compare complications of different induction methods and try to conclude safeness.
