Abstract
Trešā pētījuma nodaļa satur Latvijas Republikas normatīvās bāzes analīzi, vērtējot to no loģistikas perspektīvas.

The subject of the Master's work is “Logistics for providing social services for families with children”. At present, the logistics of social services are particularly topical in the context of administrative territorial reform. Understandable logistics in the provision of social services will encourage both employees and customers to adapt more quickly to the new situation and contribute to the continuity of services. The aim is to study, in theory and in practice, the logistical elements, their adaptation in the field of social services and the existing situation in order to develop proposals to improve the principles of logistics. The Master’s work consists of four chapters where the first chapter examines and analyses theoretical literature on the concepts, planning, coordinating and control processes and elements of logistics. The second master's work chapter is dedicated to the administration process, which is an essential part of logistics and analyses the administration process in Latvia. The third study chapter contain an analysis of the regulatory base of the Republic of Latvia, assessing it from a logistical perspective. The fourth chapter of the study contains an analysis of the interviews and survey data of social workers working with families with children, which allows proposals to improve the logistics of social services and to implement them following administratively territorial reform. In conclusion, the conclusions and proposals of the author of the work, the list of sources and literature used and the annexes are provided. The results of the study can be used to improve the logistics of social services to encourage the provision of appropriate services at the right time, in the right place and for the real customer. The study provides a future perspective for further research of the logistics processes in the field of social services provision in Latvia. There are also suggestions for improving the logistics of social services following administratively territorial reform. Keywords: Logistics, planning, coordinating and control, provision of social services, social work with families and children. The content of the master's work is set out on 79 pages. The job contains 8 attachments, 18 tables, 50 images and 159 sources of literature used. The amount of pages in master's work is 105 p. It consists of 2 annotations (in Latvian and English), introductory, four chapters and 14 subdivisions.
