Abstract
ergonomikas pamatprincipiem un to pielietojums.
ergonomikas pamatprincipiem un to izpildes kvalitāti.
– square) tests.
Atslēgas vārdi: Ergonomika, aprūpētājs, māsas, aprūpes centri.
The topic of the bachelor's thesis - knowladge of nurses and caregivers working in care centers about the basic principles of ergonomics and it`s application. Inaccurate compliance with the basic principles of ergonomics adversely affects the support and movement system of carers and nurses, and injuries to this system are the main reason why care workers are forced to take sick leave. Therefore, it was necessary to conduct a detailed study of how well each of the groups understands the basic principles of ergonomics and fulfills them. This, gaining an idea of what additional knowledge or training is needed for each of the groups. Aim of the work: To compare the understanding of nurses and caregivers working in care centers about the basic principles of ergonomics and the quality of their performance. Hypothesis - Nurses have a higher level of understanding of the basics of ergonomics than caregivers, but caregivers are better at using ergonomics to work with patients. Research methodology. The study was performed in several care centers in Latvia - 2 in Riga, 2 in Riga, 3 regional care centers. 2 tools were used - the research questionnaire - to obtain data on the respondents 'understanding and a structured, open observation - to obtain data on the quality of the respondents' compliance with the basic principles of ergonomics. Results. Nurses both better understand the basics of ergonomics and perform them better. Education is more important in the qualitative understanding and performance of the basic principles of ergonomics than in the frequency of performance of the basic principles of ergonomics in the performance of daily work duties, because nurses scored more points in both the questionnaire and the observation. The only basic principle of ergonomics that caregivers do better than nurses is to interact with colleagues. IBM SPSS Statistic 27 was used to analyze the results of the study. The Chi - square test was used. Keywords: Ergonomics, caregiver, nurses, care centers.
