Abstract
The Bachelor's work on the “Mental Health Care Nurse Competency Multidisciplinary Team in the care of depressive patients” was developed by Alona Vinka. The aim of the bachelor's job was to clarify and characterize the skills of a mental health nurse in a multidisciplinary team in the care of depressed patients. The work of the Bachelor is based on the results of studies from 2009 to 2018, published in scientific journals, as well as on the lessons of the promotional work defended by Vrublevska in 2018. The studies are based on the situation in the study base and on the need to clarify the competencies of nurses in it. 6 study tasks have been assigned to the bachelor's work to answer two questions in the study: 1. What are the competencies of mental health nurses in the care of depressed patients in a multidisciplinary team? 2. What is the importance of mental health nurse skills in the care of depressed patients? A qualitative study design and phenomenological descriptive study have been selected for work. A qualitative study method was used and a semi-structured interview was selected as an instrument. The study's data were compiled using a concessional analysis. The study population included respondents who are involved in a multidisciplinary team in the care of depressive patients at a mental health facility. A sample of a targeted study was used, consisting of 13 mental health nurses and 10 multidisciplinary team specialists. The work consists of 2 theoretical chapters and 1 practical chapters. It is concluded that the definitions of the concept of a multidisciplinary team differ and that the multidisciplinary approach is applied in different sectors and institutions. The competence of nurses depends on the specific nature of the work of the institution and the standard for the profession of nurses, which shall be determined by each country. Depression treatment depends on its developmental stage, as well as on the patient's state of health, social demographic status and other factors, and on biological methods and techniques that require surgical intervention, for example, in the treatment of depression. The study found that members of the multidisciplinary team in the study base have no common understanding of the competencies of spiritual nurses in the multidisciplinary team in working with depressed patients. The multidisciplinary team lacks understanding of the team's work and would need training for both the multidisciplinary teammates and those associated with achieving the goals of that team. The results of the study are essential and practicable in the study base to improve the work of the multidisciplinary team.
