Abstract
Bariatric surgery is a world-recognized surgical method for the treatment of obesity disease. During bariatric surgery, a reduction or transformation of the stomach is performed with the aim of reducing the amount of food ingested. Bariatric surgery provides guaranteed loss of excess weight and improvement of metabolic processes in the long term. The effect of bariatric surgery on weight loss and patient well-being, analyzing the factors influencing dieting, in bariatric patients. The aim of the work is to analyze the limiting and contributing factors of bariatric surgery for patients and their relationship to patients' eating habits and dietary restrictions. The study uses a quantitative research method, surveying patients after surgery and performing statistical analysis. The main results show that most patients recognize the need for dieting after surgery, and the size of meals has decreased. However, some patients still face challenges such as stress and hunger. These findings may provide insights into the long-term effectiveness. The work consists of 43 pages, includes four tables and five graphs, 37 literary sources and three annexes and conclusions.
