Abstract
AMPPRO (Amputee Mobility Predictor with Prosthesis) testa rezultātiem pacientiem ar cukura
diabētu, kuri lieto apakšējās ekstremitātes protēzes, laika posmā no 2010. līdz 2021.gadam
diabetes, diabetics, prosthesis, mobility, AMP (Amputee Mobility Predictor), AMPPRO (Amputee
Mobility Predictor with Prosthesis).
Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 48 lapaspusēm, sešām tabulām un diviem attēliem, pieciem
pielikumiem; četriem avotiem, 13 periodiskajiem izdevumiem un 10 interneta resursiem.
Title of Bachelor’s Thesis: Changes in mobility of diabetic patients with lower limb prostheses: A systematic literature review Work author: Marta Luīze Katinska Supervisor: Guntis Raipalis Purpose of the work: to select, compile and analyze available scientific literature and studies on AMPPRO (Amputee Mobility Predictor with Prosthesis) test for patients with diabetes who use lower limb prosthesis, in the period from 2010 to 2021. Research question: Does functional training improve mobility for diabetics who are using lower extremity prosthesis? Result: three studies using the Amputee Mobility Predictor assessment tool for lower extremity prosthesis users were selected and analyzed. There are currently limited number of qualitative studies on the mobility of diabetic patients using lower extremity prosthesis. Performing functional and gait training for study participants significantly improves the mobility of lower limb prosthesis users. Conclusions: the goal of the bachelor’s thesis has been achieved. Functional training and gait training significantly improve the mobility of diabetic lower limb prosthesis users and their prosthetic skills, and facilitate their daily activities. Key words: lower limb, lower extremity, transtibial, transfemoral, amputation, amputee, diabetes, diabetics, prosthesis, mobility, AMP (Amputee Mobility Predictor), AMPPRO (Amputee Mobility Predictor with Prosthesis). This work consists of 48 pages, six charts and two images, five attachments; four sources, 13 periodical issues and 10 internet resources are mentioned.
