Abstract
Šajā pētnieciskajā darbā ir apkopoti punkti par intermitējošu badošanos (lat. intertermittere "pārtraukt", "pauze"), intermitējošu badošanos vai īslaicīgu badošanos. Intermitējoša badošanās palielina paredzamo dzīves ilgumu dzīvniekiem, kuri ievēro šo diētu, salīdzinot ar tiem, kas izmanto parasto diētu, un samazina ar vecumu saistītu slimību risku.
Intermitējoša badošanās ir pierādījusi dažādus ieguvumus veselībai preklīniskajos un klīniskajos pētījumos par tādām slimībām kā aptaukošanās, cukura diabēts, sirds un asinsvadu slimības, ļaundabīgi audzēji un neiropātija.
This research paper summarizes the points about intermittent fasting (lat. intertermittere "interrupt", "pause"), intermittent fasting or short-term fasting. Intermittent fasting increases the life expectancy of animals on this diet compared with those on a conventional diet in various animal models and reduces the risk of age-related diseases. Intermittent fasting has demonstrated various health benefits in preclinical and clinical studies in diseases such as obesity, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, malignancies, and neuropathy.
