Abstract
Title: Effectiveness of core stabilizing exercises to relieve pain in subjects with chronic lower back pain: Systematic review Objective: Assess and analyse the effectiveness of core stabilizing exercises for pain relief and the improvement of associated disability in people with chronic lower back pain. Methods: Electronic databases such as PubMed, Pubmed Central, Clinical Trials, ScientceDirect, PEDro were used for research purposes. In the research scientific publications where included from the period 2011 to 2022, freely available as well as other inclusion criteria. The level of proof will be assessed for the publications included. Results: Six studies have been compiled. Comparing the results of the studies between the different therapeutic methods there is not any significant difference between the results, but it can be noted that stabilisation exercises have a slightly higher efficiency. Conclusions: All the therapeutic methods applied reduced pain and improved the results of pain disability in lower back pain. In the analysis of studies, no significant differences were observed between the results and it can be concluded that stabilisation exercises with another therapeutic method would produce better results than the individual therapeutic method. Keywords: Core training, resistance training, strength training, motor control, chronic non specific pain, chronic lower back pain
