Abstract
Gandrīz puse pieejamo zinātnisko datu sastāvēja no zemākas zinātniskās vērtības avotiem.
Patients with pedophilia-themed obsessive-compulsive disorder experience fear due to disturbing intrusive thoughts about sexual attraction to children. Over 40% of mental health professionals and more than 70% of primary care professionals consider P-OCD to be pedophilia. The main purpose of this literature review is to gain an understanding about the topic of pedophilia in obsessive compulsive disorder. The aim is also to observe the quality and quantity of available sources. It was concluded that pedophilia-related obsessive-compulsive disorder remains understudied. Both the quality and quantity of the sources were low. The best described subtopic was treatment (22.2% of all of the sources), while the worst described subtopic was treatment (2.2% of all of the sources). Almost half of the available scientific data consisted of sources that have lower scientific value.
