Abstract
Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt stresu izraisošos faktorus un to vadību operācijas māsu profesionālajā darbībā.
The aim of the study was to assess the stress factors and their management in the professional activities of operating nurses. To achieve the study's goal, a quantitative study of 177 operating nurses was conducted, completing the "Expanded Nursing Stress Scale," the "Social Problem Solving Survey," as well as a demographic data survey. The results of the study revealed that there is an association between the sources of stress for the operating nurses, methods of solving social problems and the level of education and seniority of work. As a result of correlation analyses, it was found that the use of non-functional stress management methods showed a statistically moderately close negative correlation with sources of work stress. Which indicates that more attention needs to be paid to improving the stress management techniques of operating nurses, especially for younger nurses with little work experience.
