Abstract

The name of the work – “Attitudes of the ambulatory care patients and the factors influencing it regarding vaccination against Sars-cov-2 in different age groups”. The aim of the work is to clarify the treatment of patients in the practice of general practitioners and the factors influencing them on the development and introduction of a new vaccine in different age groups. The topicality of the topic is due to the fact that despite the development of the Sars-cov-2 pandemic and the active vaccination of risk groups, various rumors, myths and mistrust of both the virus treatment process and the vaccine have arisen among the Latvian population. Hypothesis of the study: patients in the practice of General Practitioners are negatively disposed about the development and introduction of a new vaccine Research method: quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive research method using a quantitatively structured survey developed by the author herself, consisting of 19 different types of questions: open, closed, grid, multiple answer and scale type. The study involved: 160 women and 40 men. Total: 200 respondents.
