Abstract
Šajā darbā sniegtā informācija tika atrasta, izmantojot dažādas publiskas datu bāzes, piemēram, Google Scholar, PubMed, Wolters Kluwer un citas. Pamatojoties uz šī literatūras apskata atklājumiem, mēs varam secināt, ka ir iespējama saikne starp maiņu darbu un hipertensiju. Šķiet, ka īpašs riska faktors ir maiņu darbam pakļauto gadu skaits. Ne visi pētījumi liecina par iespējamu saikni, tāpēc ir nepieciešams vairāk pētījumu par šo tēmu.
Liela daļa iedzīvotāju ir iesaistīti maiņu darbā. Tā kā maiņu darbam var būt nozīme hipertensijas attīstībā, būtu lietderīgi veikt vairāk pētījumu par šo tēmu. Ilgtermiņa pētījumi ar personām, kas iesaistītas tāda paša veida maiņu darbā, optimāli populācijās, kas pakļautas dažiem citiem ar darbu saistītiem apdraudējumiem. Turklāt ir svarīgi uzraudzīt maiņu darbiniekus un uzraudzīt viņu asinsspiedienu, jo viņiem var būt lielāks hipertensijas attīstības risks salīdzinājumā ar vispārējo populāciju.
The information presented in this thesis were found using different public databases like Google Scholar, PubMed, Wolters Kluwer and others. Based on the findings in this literature review, we can conclude with a potential link between shift work and hypertension. A particular risk factor seems to be the number of years exposed to shift work. Not all studies suggest a potential link, therefore there is a need for more research on this topic. A large part of the population is involved in shift work. As shift work may play a role in the development of hypertension, it would be beneficial to perform more studies on the topic. Long-term studies in individuals involved in the same type of shift work, optimally in populations exposed to few other work-related hazards. Furthermore, it is important to follow up shift workers and monitor their blood pressure, as they may be at higher risk of developing hypertension compared to the general population.
