Abstract
Micromobility electric devices offer countless advantages – they are convenient, environmentally friendly and economical, and also solve the problem of congestion in cities with high population. These aspects have contributed to the increase in the number of users of micromobility electric devices, and it is also being supported at the national level. The rapid development has created gaps in the legal framework, which currently threatens the safe integration of micromobility electric devices in road traffic. As the number of drivers increases, so does the number of violations, which are often the cause of traffic accidents. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is, by studying the violations and traffic accidents caused by micromobility electric devices, to identify the danger they pose to road safety, and to propose solutions for the safer integration of micromobility electric devices into road traffic. By identifying the problem, it is possible to find a solution, how, by supplementing the legal regulation and optimizing the preventive measures, to reduce the threat to road traffic safety caused by micromobility electric devices.
