Abstract
Neuropsychiatric symptoms have been well documented in several systemic inflammatory conditions, e.g: systemic lupus erythematosus. Increased prevalence of cognitive decline and psychiatric issues has been reported in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. However, there is limited evidence which exact cognitive domains are affected and to what degree. This research aims to determine the prevalence of cognitive impairment and impairment in the domain of ideational fluency in patients with RA and compare to the prevalence in a general population.
