Abstract
Urīna nesaturēšanu var ārstēt dažādi, no maz invazīvām metodēm līdz operācijām.
Maģistra darba pētījuma izstrādes laikā kādā no Latvijas slimnīcām, urīna nesaturēšanas
Annotation In last 10 years more attention is brought to human health. More or less serious problem is to urinate in certain place and in certain time. Both genders are affected by urinary incontinence, but because of anatomical differences female are affected more. Incontinence affects the quality of life. In society it is not widely discussed about this problem, but it is important to pay attention to it. Urinary incontinence can be cured by different methods, from invasive methods to surgeries. At the beginning it is important to exercise the pelvic muscle. Biofeedback is additional method to exercise the pelvic floor muscle for females with urinary incontinence. With this method it is possible to motivate patients to exercise and to reach voluntary process control over the small pelvic muscle. Nurses are competent to give consultations and information, to offer possible solutions, to improve quality of life of the patient with urine symptoms. Consultations, exercise instructions with help by the biofeedback method, recommendations about consuming liquids and hygienic measures may improve quality of intervene of behavior. It is long work and type of treatment, which can take time form few months up to year, to reach the desired result. To get results for this research, has been examined patients in urinary incontinence rooms in one of the hospitals of Latvia if the pelvic floor muscle strengthening training lead by nurses for female with urinary incontinence decreases urinary incontinence symptoms and increases quality of life connected with heath quality. The randomized controlled research – certain intervention group has been compared with control group, which did not receive intervention. Distribution into groups was chosen by chance. Biofeedback method’s program Urostym and questionnaire was used to make this research. It has been concluded that pelvic floor musculature`s exercises lead by nurses for female with urinary incontinence decreases urinary incontinence symptoms and increase quality of life connected with health.
