Abstract
Darba nosaukums: Vecmāšu pieredze par pacientu un viņu piederīgo vardarbību dzemdību
nodaļā.
Tēmas aktualitāte: Vardarbība pret veselības aprūpes darbiniekiem ir globāla problēma, kas
apdraud ne tikai darbinieku cieņu, bet arī veselību. Vardarbība tiek uzskatīta par sabiedrības
veselības problēmu, jo tā rada nopietnu negatīvu kaitējumu veselības nozarē. Lielāko daļu
vardarbības veicēji ir pacienti, to radinieki un apmeklētāji. Latvijas ārstniecības personu
profesionālās organizācijas pauž bažas par pieaugošo agresiju pret mediķiem. Vardarbība
negatīvi ietekmē veselības aprūpes darbinieku psiholoģisko un fizisko labsajūtu, un viņu
darba motivāciju, kā arī apdraud aprūpes kvalitāti.
Pētījuma jautājums: Kāda ir vecmāšu pieredze par vardarbību no pacientu un viņu
piederīgo puses dzemdību nodaļā?
Pētījuma mērķis: noskaidrot vecmāšu pieredzi par pacientu un viņu piederīgo vardarbību
dzemdību nodaļā.
Pētījuma uzdevumi:
1. Noskaidrot vecmāšu pieredzi par pacientu un viņu piederīgo vardarbību
dzemdību nodaļā.
2. Aprakstīt vecmāšu pieredzi.
Metode un instruments: Pētījuma veikšanai izmantots kvalitatīva dizaina pētījums. Pētījumā
tika izmantots pētījuma autora veidots instruments - intervija ar 11 daļēji strukturētiem
jautājumiem. Pētījuma dalībnieki tika atlasīti pēc nevarbūtīgās izlases veida. Pētījumā tika
iekļautas 12 vecmātes no dažādām Latvijas dzemdību nodaļām. Dati tika apstrādāti
izmantojot ‘’NVivo’’ programmu. Interviju tekstu analīzei tika izmantota interpretatīvā
fenomenoloģiskā analīze.
Rezultāti: Vardarbība pret vecmātēm dzemdību nodaļā ir nopietna problēma, kas var būtiski
ietekmēt gan vecmāšu, gan pacientu drošību un veselību. Vardarbība var izpausties dažādos
veidos, tostarp psiholoģiskā, emocionālā, verbālā un fiziskā vardarbībā. Vecmātes dzemdību
nodaļā piedzīvo pacientu un viņu piederīgo vardarbību, neatkarīgi no vecuma, izglītības un
darba stāža, tomēr vecmātēm ir atšķirīga pieredze saistībā ar situācijām, vardarbības
veicējiem un piedzīvoto vardarbības biežumu.
Title: Midwives' experience of patient and their relatives violence in the maternity ward. Topic: Violence against healthcare workers is a global problem that threatens not only the dignity of workers but also their health. Violence is considered a public health problem because it causes serious negative harm in the health sector. Most of the abusers are patients, their relatives and visitors. The professional organizations of Latvian medical professionals express their concern about the growing aggression against health care workers. Violence negatively affects the psychological and physical well-being of health care workers and their work motivation, as well as threatens the quality of care. Research question: What are midwives' experiences with violence from patients and their relatives in the maternity ward? The purpose of the study: to find out the midwives' experience of patient and their relatives violence in the maternity ward. Research tasks: 1. To find out the experience of midwives about the violence of patients and their relatives in the maternity ward. 2. Describe midwives' experiences. Method and tools: A qualitative design study was used to conduct the research. The study used an instrument created by the author of the study - an interview with 11 semi-structured questions. The study participants were selected by non-probability sampling. The study included 12 midwives from different obstetric departments in Latvia. The data were processed using the "NVivo" program. Interpretive phenomenological analysis was used to analyze the interview texts. Results: Violence against midwives in the maternity ward is a serious problem that can significantly affect the safety and health of both midwives and patients. Abuse can take many forms, including psychological, emotional, verbal and physical abuse. Midwives in the maternity ward experience violence from patients and their relatives, regardless of age, education and work experience, however, midwives have different experiences in relation to situations, perpetrators of violence and the frequency of violence experienced.
