Abstract
Aizmugurējo augšžokļu zobu zaudēšana un to atgūšana ar zobu implantiem aizmugurējā augšžokļa rajonā ir liels izaicinājums. Problēmas rodas alveolārās kores atrofijas un sinusa pneimatizācijas dēļ. Augšžokļa sinusa pacelšana ir labi zināma un paredzama metode šo problēmu risināšanai. Bet augšžokļa sinusa pacelšana nāk kopā ar pēcoperācijas izaicinājumiem. Lielākais izaicinājums ir Šneidera membrānas perforācija, kas var radīt daudz sarežģījumu, piemēram, implanta zaudēšanu. Literatūras apskata mērķis ir sniegt ieskatu augšžokļa sinusa pacelšanas procedūrā un izpētīt, vai ir iespēja novērst Šneidera membrānas plīsumu. Lai atrastu atbilstošus pētījumus par šo tēmu, tika izmantotas tiešsaistes datu bāzes. Rezultāti parādīja, ka nav vienotas tehnikas vai metodes, lai novērstu Šneidera membrānas plīsumu. Tiek izstrādātas vairākas jaunas metodes, un ir nepieciešama plašāka so metožu īstenošana, lai varētu tās novērtēt.
The loss of the posterior maxillary teeth and their recovery through dental implants in the posterior maxillary region is a challenging matter. The challenges arise due to alveolar ridge atrophy and sinus pneumatization. The maxillary sinus lift exists as a well-recognized and predictable method to deal with those challenging issues. But the maxillary sinus lift comes with its own intra- and postoperative challenges, the biggest challenges is the perforation of the Schneiderian membrane which in its turn can lead to more complications like loss of the implant. The aim of this literature review is to give an insight into the procedure of the maxillary sinus lift and to investigate if there is a possibility to prevent the rupture of the Schneiderian membrane. For finding relevant research regarding this topic, online databases were used. The results showed that there is no single method or technique to prevent the rupture of the Schneiderian membrane. There are several new methods that are under development, a wider implementation and more research needs to be done regarding the newer methods.
