Abstract
Doktorante Dž. Andresone pēta problēmu, kura tiesību zinātnē ir maz analizēta, – mirušo cilvēku personas datu aizsardzību. Autore secina, ka mirušo personu datu apstrādē biežāk tiek izmantotas tās tiesību normas, kas attiecas uz mirušo pacientu datu apstrādi, taču arī šāda prakse visos gadījumos nav konsekventa. Būtiski, ka ar pacienta nāvi nebeidzas medicīniskā personāla pienākums glabāt profesionālos noslēpumus par personu.
The student of doctoral studies Dž. Andersone has researched the problem not much studied in jurisprudence – personal data protection of the deceased. The author has concluded that for the processing of the personal data of the deceased more frequently such legal norms are applied which relate to processing of the personal data of the deceased; yet such practice is inconsequential in all cases. It is important to acknowledge that upon the death of a patient medical personnel still must keep professional secrets about such a patient.
