Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis called “Changes in students’ lives and studies during pandemic” was designed to find out how students daily lives and learning processes changed during the pandemic. The theoretical framework of the bachelor’s thesis used aggregated information on pandemics experienced in human history. Information about the daily life of Latvian students before the pandemic was described. The bachelor’s thesis includes a summary and analysis of research developed abroad in order to understand students daily lives during distance learning and to find out what problems students face under the influence of a pandemic. Empirical research has been performed using a mixed methods approach. The main conclusions indicate that everyday life has changed for those students who were involved in after study activities. The main changes in the learning process was reflected in the fact that studies did not take place in person, but remotely / online.
